THE FANTASTIC GREY
CAT'S DETECTIVE AGENCY
This book features urban adventures and fantasy novels. When designing the cover, I had in mind that we often think of cats as creatures from outer space because of their unpredictable personalities. At first, the image of these feline aliens heading into the universe was my inspiration. I rendered the handwritten Chinese title in gold to represent the spaceship’s metal parts and printed on black paper with sparkly silver flecks to evoke space travel.
灰貓奇異事務所 - 這本小說主要在講述城市中的冒險與奇想，當設計這本書時第一時間便想到『貓星人』這個詞，於是便把這樣的意象轉化為書名標準字上，特色金則回應了太空船的金屬設備，封面選紙則用佈滿銀白材質的紙張，去表現浩瀚的星空。
